Description
HOSHANA RABBAH is from the Hebrew, meaning NUMEROUS HOSANNAS or APPEAL TO GOD FOR HELP (Alcalay, R. The Complete Hebrew English Dictionary. Jerusalem: Massada. 508; Strassfeld, Michael. 1985. The Jewish Holidays: A Guide and Commentary. New York: Harper & Row. 135).
