MICHAL is a contracted form of MICHAEL, meaning WHO IS LIKE GOD (Kolatch, Alfred J. 1984. The Complete Dictionary of English and Hebrew First Names Middle Village: Jonathan David. 376).
Hebrew Bible name - Michal was the youngest daughter of King Saul,
sister of Jonathon, Abinadab and Esh-baal, Malchi-shua,and Merab; and a wife of David (1 Samuel 18: 17-28; 1 Samuel 14:49.
