Hebrew Bible source - Let there be an EXPANSE [RAKIA] in the midst of the water and let it separate water from water. (Genesis 1:6).
The Hebrew Letters featured in this painting are Resh Kuf Yud Ayin. Taken together, and reading from right to left, they spell RAKIA.

So it is possible to say that the Resh literally means THERE IS A BEGINNING.
