Since the Name Yud Hey Vav Hey was considered too sacred to be pronounced, the vowels ADONAI were inserted under the consonants ADONAI to remind readers to articulate ADONAI instead of Yud Hey Vav Hey.
SHEFA is from the Hebrew, meaning ABUNDANCE, PLENTY, SUPERFLUITY, EXCESS, FILL, PROFUSION. PLETHORA, OVERMEASURE; MULITTUDE (Alcalay, R. The Complete Hebrew English Dictionary. Jerusalem: Massada. 2702).
